Totally agree with the above. I consulted with three so-called experts before finding my doctor. The first two just pushed their most expensive laser package. The third, who I went with, spent an hour mapping my scars and recommended a tailored plan: TCA cross for the icepicks, followed by fractional erbium for the boxcars later. She’s known for being conservative and realistic. She also pointed out that some of the redness I thought was just scar texture was actually broken capillaries, and treating those first with a different laser would make the texture work more effective. She has a page on her site that talks about that specific vascular component, which was really eye-opening for me: https://bellasanamedspa.com/service/laser-spider-vein-removal. Her approach is very step-by-step. I can DM you her name if you want, she’s in the Lincoln Park area.
